Fair Play Netflix film review!
Fair Play Netflix film review
Two lovers' relationship reaches the brink of collapse due to a sudden promotion that one of them receives in a high-risk hedge fund, which threatens to reveal much more than their recent engagement.
The movie “Fair Play” is the latest Netflix movie, starring Phoebe Dynevor and Alden Ehrenreich, written and directed by Chloe Dumont.and it tells about two lovers, work in one stock exchange company. and Among the company’s rules, it is not permissible for two employees to be in a relationship.
But that's not the problem, the real problem begins when one of them gets a promotion and the other reveals the ugly side of his, and that's what occur between the two characters.
- The advantage of the film is in its plot, because while watching it, I felt a little affected by how dark the film is, and the truth is not far-fetched, but the film also makes us experience a conflict that is not very far from our practical and real lives, which is the jealousy that occurs between the company’s employees, and I wonder if a love relationship happened between them, who could win? love? Or job status? and Who can sacrifice? Who has the psychological peace that makes him love success for others? More importantly, will it make a difference if the one who is promoted is a man or a woman?
I liked this very much, and in the first half of the film it was able to highlight the relationship between our characters and the strength of their love, and how the issue of promotion is the earthquake that destroys them both? We also see the world of work or work that makes you destroy your humanity to the point that I praise the zodiac signs in the movie.
The events of the movie will not revolve around 3 places for filming between home and work and a place for the night out, if we go to it at all, and this even expresses the focus and stereotype of work, and this is a great job.
Also, the cinematic elements that take us with excitement and tension from the first moment to the last moment, and this is the work of directing and actors, who all did a wonderful performance and editing, and also the work of the pictures, lighting and decoration, which reminded me a little of the atmosphere of David Fincher, and they are all excellent elements.
The film's drawback is that the pacing in the first half sometimes took a little too much time and could have been faster. The dialogue sometimes became repetitive, and the ending, which unfortunately was not closed fair enough.
Alert !
the film is very good and worth watching, but the film is not suitable for anyone over 16 years of age due to it containing sexual scenes and some scenes of violence.
