Hijack 2023 series review starring Idris Elba!

The New Apple TV+ series embarks on a flight between Dubai and London, hijacked by armed people with unclear motives. On board is a negotiation expert, played by Idris Elba. The actor makes all the interest of this absurd, but a pleasant thriller.

In the very first images of Hijack, the face of Idris Elba, the features drawn, occupy the screen. “He plays the role of an ordinary person, Sam Nelson, known on dry land for his negotiating skills, who finds himself trapped on a hijacked flight by hijackers and forced to be a hero in spite of himself. ”, this not something new from the brilliant writer George Kay who write Lupin.

We have followed Sam on his journey, since boarding the plane, and we witness terrible tension between the passengers as events escalate. Especially with regard to the actions of Sam, who deceives the leader of the kidnappers that he is on their team and breaks the fast in the interest of the plane in order to dig away on the other hand next to the captain so that they issue a distress signal to the headquarters of directing the flights.

Some may see it as another of the usual plane theft films, and others may see it as unreasonable and logical, but the common thing is that it is well written, although there are some observations and questions that we must address. Which is the reason behind hijacking a plane and maintaining the same course, and the motive behind that?

There are some events that we could not anticipate, which is the death of the one responsible for searching the bags and her family, along with the birthday boy!

Until now, only two episodes of the series have been released, but it is a great start to exciting events that we will discover with the release of the next episodes.
