Luther: The Fallen Sun " Review"
Luther: The Fallen Sun,Netflix,Idris Elba
The movie is derived from the TV series called: Luther. Which started in 2010 and lasted 9 years, starring Idris Elba, and it met with great success and high rating..this part starring: Idris Elba, Andy Serkis, Cynthia Revue and Dermot Crowley.
The film revolves around the famous detective Luther (Idris Elba), who is investigating the case of the disappearance of a teenager named Malcolm with a body that dates back to her death 10 years ago. Luther investigates the case, but the killer manages to imprison Luther, but Luther escapes from prison to catch the killer.
The truth is that the film is, to say the least, a farce and empty nonsense,The story is completely lost and full of clear gaps. The scenes are incoherent, which makes the sequence of events broken.
Suddenly, Luther is imprisoned without any scenes, introductions, trials, or scenes of his arrest. Most of the prison scenes are naive and funny, and you don't understand who is with whom!
The story is completely lost, as the killer built his case on blackmailing his victims with scandals that make them ashamed of them, so they kill themselves, although scandals such as cheating on their wife are very normal and do not require a person to kill himself.
Even the way he knew how the killer chose his victims was not completely convincing, and it was not explained how he was able to know. We just watched him deduce this from his brain without any analysis of anything like Sherlock, for example.
The acting in the whole movie is a disaster, like the scene where Cynthia Erivo strangle him when she tries to get him into her car. And the scene she imagined that her daughter died, there was no tear at all, if a dog died, you would have been more upset!
The final scenes when they traveled to Norway, walking in the snow by car, and then walking on the snow in a comical and funny scene, as if they were going for a picnic. Originally, is this Norway or the North Pole!. Well, this place has no guards!!
The scenes of the final conflict are all errors in the directing and story, and Zare’a’s failure. The mobile phone fell in the snow and turned on, it found Wi-Fi under the snow .
also one helicopter is going to rescue, we can't see who is in it, and suddenly you find divers coming down, how they know they fall under the water?.
There are no introductions or explanations for too many scenes. You suddenly find the event in front of you.even the makeup of the burnt wife is sticky plaster and something that means poverty in production..
In conclusion, the whole movie is a disaster on the one hand, the story, the acting, the directing, the scenario. Almost every scene you will find is farce...
