Why you Should Watch The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of power !
Rings of power, The lord f the rings
After a long wait and suspense, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power episodes were finally shown on Amazon Prime. The series produced by Amazon, will compete with the successor series House of Dragons, from HBO.
The Rings of Power is the most expensive show yet for Amazon Prime Video, with the first season alone reportedly costing the streaming device $465 million.
While it seems that JRR Tolkien fans are divided about the story and characters, the majority consider it a good start and unanimously agree on the show's cinematography, "amazing" visuals/ soundtrack and visual effects.
Talking about the first two episodes of the largest television production of the series “Rings of Power” requires several pauses because of its positives and problems. This is not a review, but a first pause. The actual review will be after the end of this season of the series!.
There is a clear success visually in the scenic formulation and scenography that has many elements in common with its predecessor, the “Lord of the Rings” films in particular, while maintaining the cinematic touch in the presentation. There is a clear interest in the musical formulation of the scenes, where each place, character and scene of their music according to the feelings or the dramatic employment in the narration.
The visual and digital effects are the best among what has been shown recently on the screens, and there is no weakness, as is often the case (and this is something that suffers from, for example, in some scenes of the House of the Dragon series).
The series, despite the attractiveness of its scenery elements, did not present most of the characters in its first episode in a way that makes the viewer care a lot about them and is attracted to them (especially the main characters).
the series relied a lot on the story and the event. It gives the impression that the makers of the series didn't care about having screen-eaters in their presence, such as the House of the Dragon crew led by Matt Smith, Buddy Considine and Rhys Evans. Those and from the first episode you can not easily imagine another actor in the role of any one of them, while you can easily with the actors in the rings of power. This is in addition to the writing that was based on the story without much interest in clearly formulating the presence and motives of the characters.
Why are the ratings so low for The Rings Of Power (6.5 IMDB / 84% Rotten tomatoes)?
The Rings of Power is getting slammed essentially everywhere that accepts fan reviews:
On Rotten Tomatoes, while its critics score is 84%, it has a 36% audience score. On IMDB (which Amazon owns) it has a 6.5/10 with 25% of reviews being 1 star.
On Amazon itself, it has nothing, because Amazon has disabled reviews of the series entirely. Normally when you watch an Amazon show or movie, whether it’s an original or not, it will have user star ratings there. But Rings of Power has zero reviews listed because Amazon didn’t want to be broadcasting its premiere with a low score right next to it, no doubt.
Why are fans mad this time? Take your pick of reasons. It’s a combination of racism, misogyny, and supposed unfaithfulness to Tolkien’s original work. Sometimes all three of these reasons are the same.
Y are an amazing article , go head and continue on your goals
