2022 Golden Globe nominations, Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the power of the dog, Belfast 

What is noticeable about this year's Golden Globe nominations is the dominance of "The Power of the dog" and "Belfast" received the most nominations, with 11 nominations for all of the awards.

Netflix had the most nominations in the movie nominations with 17 nominations with its films 'The Power of the Dog', 'Don't Look Up' and 'Tick, Tick... Boom!' In the small screen nominations, HBO topped the nominations. Networks with 15 nominations.

Amid persistent doubts, an accusation storm followed against the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, accusing it of corruption and nepotism.

The Associated Press reported that the association experienced a period of ostracism by several studios and stars who attacked what they described as its unethical behavior. The group of 87 film journalists has been accused of exploiting the significance of the Golden Globe nominations to gain concessions and forge special bonds with Hollywood stars.

After the "Los Angeles Times" newspaper presented a detailed explanation of some behaviors in the association, it revealed that its members do not include a single black journalist.

Studios said they would boycott the Golden Globes, prompting the association to quickly take a deep action into its structure.

After nine months of reform, reorganization, and numerous pledges to do better, the league is doing what it always does this time of year: gather reporters early in the morning at the Beverly Hilton to announce its film and television nominations.

In turn, NBC, which has always been broadcast the Golden Globes, said in May that it would not broadcast the 2022 ceremony, because "the hoped-for change takes time and work." However, the association set a date for January 9 to name the winners.
