"King Richard"...the story of a sports family who defied the impossible!

King Richard, which launched this week in the United States, is based on the third character, Richard Williams, father of two sisters,  coach, and director, who played by actor Will Smith. And is predicted. That will be his third time Oscar nominated and maybe his first time to win an Oscar!.

Will Smith "fell in love with Richard Williams" a long time ago, when he saw him come to the rescue of his 14-year-old daughter Venus during an interview he was giving to a journalist who was persistent in his questions. In an online press conference, the actor explained that "the image of Venus's  facial expressions that moment is engraved" in his heart.

"I knew I wanted to show the world, a father who would protect his daughter in this way," said Will Smith, who is also the producer of this feature film from Warren Brothers.

"King Richard" follows the astonishing rise of champions Serena and Venus Williams, from the tennis courts in a poor Los Angeles suburb to victories in the world's most important tournaments.

The film not only highlights the sporting achievements of the two Williams sisters, but also focuses on the aspect of how this unified and unusual family managed to set out from a poor neighborhood inhabited by a majority of blacks to reach glory and fame.

Richard Williams, for example, laid out a 78-page plan that, even before the birth of his two daughters, included the foundations for making Serena and Venus later the best players in the world.

"King Richard" turns his daughter Venus into one of the greatest tennis players in history and her sister Serena, followed by stardom as well. Richard is perhaps the most daring human experiment in the history of the sport, as he radically changed the game that was like a bubble for white players. The biopic of Richard tells the Hollywood version of a bitter reality. The producers wrapped the facts in a drunken dress by ignoring its mention, changing its impact, or passing it unnoticed, and all this ends with the beginning of Venus professional at the age of 14 in 1994. The events after that are captured like cherries and presented In summary and archival footage, the producers remind us of the sisters' huge sponsorship contracts and the family unit that has held together despite the differences and difficulties. Serena and Venus collected £225 million together, but the path to stardom and success was not strewn with roses.

" King Richard" also shows Orasin's disagreements with Richard because he makes decisions about Serena and Venus without consulting her. The couple divorced in 2002, ending Richard's second marriage of 3, and when he left his first wife, Betty Johnson, one of his five children accused him of leaving them in poverty. The third wife Lakesha Graham was 38 years younger than him and became pregnant with his son before their separation in 2017, after only 5 years of marriage.
