"What If" is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe story, due to the recently created multiverse.

 the lead author on What If AC Bradley notes that although the series is cartoon and presents each episode separately, everything in the series is part of the shared universe. He said, "The events in "What If" are within the world. It's part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The multiverse has come. It's real, and it's absolutely amazing."

Marvel's Loki director Kate Heron has confirmed that her series launched the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And while we all knew movies like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Spider-Man: No Way Home would go into these advances,

We saw stories in "What If" The original comic shows that Uatu the Watcher presents alternate facts branching from the primary timeline in the Marvel Comics. What If, Who has his own character Uatu played by Jeffrey Wright, will use the same mechanism.

This leaves us with the vexing question of whether the animated characters in What If. They could become live characters in future MCU projects. With characters like Peggy Carter as Captain America and Gamora in Thanos , there are some iconic characters likely to become fan favorites, but Marvel isn't talking about anything quite that far at the moment.

Most of the actors from the live-action films have returned, but there are also a handful of new voices and characters who are set to premiere in the MCU. Most notably is Jeffrey Wright as The Watcher, the narrator of the series. Plus, Chadwick Boseman has his final appearance as Black Panther's T'Challa. It may not be part of the decade-long live-action saga, but What If... is certainly worth watching, especially for the Marvel die hards.

Note for those who have not watched the series yet, here there are spoiler events

In the first episode, we saw the hypothesis of Captain America turning into Peggy Carter instead of Steve Rogers.
In the second episode, we watched Chadwick Boseman appear as Black Panther.
The third episode was about the hypothesis of killing the Avengers (Iron Man. Thor. Hulk. Natasha Romanov).
In the fourth episode, Doctor Strange appeared in the multiple world (good / bad character).
