Churches closed for the first time during Easter

Easter celebration this year without traditional parades and masses due to Corona virus.

    Easter is the greatest and largest festive holiday, which falls on the 12th of April every year to celebrate the memory of the resurrection of Christ from the dead three days after his death, as it is written in the New Testament.
   This year, for the first time, it is celebrated away from churches, marches, and customs.
Nevertheless, millions of Christians from Catholics and Protestants will watch television screens to follow religious ceremonies, especially in St. Peter's Square in the Vatican, which was devoid of worshipers, and he had told Pope when reviving the rituals of the "path of the cross" in the empty St. Peter's Square on Friday evening: "Lord, do not leave us in Darkness in the shadow of death and protect us with the shield of your strength. "

        Historians say this marks as a return to the earliest periods of Christianity, when religious ceremonies were celebrated in particular.
  Also, many countries have abolished the traditional traditions of Easter, due to the domestic quarantine that citizens in all parts of the world are subject to, because of the highly prevalent Corona virus in the world, so people will just celebrate Easter in their homes .
