Coinciding with Netflix's presentation of its new Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, which deals with the life story of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, social media applications, especially Tik Tok, was abuzz with videos from previous meetings with Dahmer.
By September 21, Netflix shocked audiences with its new series, Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, a limited crime series directed by Ryan Murphy, which deals with the crimes of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, known as the Milwaukee beast or cannibal. The cities of the American state of Wisconsin, where Jeffrey Dahmer grew up, is known to have murdered and dismembered 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991.
The series was produced by Netflix for several reasons, perhaps the most notable of which are the heinous crimes committed by “Damer” in a brutal manner, in addition to Netflix dealing with his life indifferent to the families of the victims, nearly 28 years after his death.
Dahmer's real life
Dahmer was born in 1960, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but many details from his childhood are unknown.
There are conflicting reports about whether Dahmer was neglected as a child or if he was loved, but there seems to be no doubt that he came from a broken home, where his mother suffered from depression and attempted suicide, his father was away studying for most of his childhood, and Dahmer's parents divorced Finally when he was 18 years old.
Dahmer was interested in dead animals, and from an early age began collecting insects and skeletons of small animals, such as squirrels, and preserving them in jars of formaldehyde.

Jeffrey's first crime
The first crime in the life of the killer Dahmer took place 3 weeks after he graduated from high school, specifically in 1978, and his first victim was 18-year-old Stephen Mark Hicks, who took him to his home and strangled him, dismembered him and buried him.
Aside from killing, Dahmer was a rapist. After he was expelled from the army, he used to go to “gay” places, drugging and sexually assaulting those who kidnapped them.
At the end of the 1980s, Dahmer committed his second crime and kept bones and skulls, as he lived in his grandmother's house, and after his grandmother kicked him out of the house due to his arrest for nudity, Dahmer moved to Milwaukee.
Jeffrey continued his crimes and killed approximately 17 young men and boys, all of his victims were male.
Dahmer committed many terrible crimes such as intercourse with corpses, cannibalism, and keeping bones and skulls.
Jeffrey Dahmer arrested and sentencing
The criminal Dahmer was arrested more than once on various charges such as child molestation or nudity, but his crimes were revealed after one of his victims managed to escape and report him, in 1991.
In 1992 Jeffrey was convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment, repeated 15 times.
In 1994 Dahmer was found murdered by his cellmate Christopher Scarver, who told a guard that God had commanded him to do so.
Reactions to Netflix's production of a series about Damer's life
Despite the huge uproar caused by the series, where social media applications were filled with old videos of the criminal Jeffrey while talking about his crimes, many people criticized the Netflix platform’s production of a work that deals with his life, considering that the platform did not care about the families of the victims in order to make a profit, especially because of some scenes Romance at work.
